CREW MANAGEMENT

DYM provides a complete portfolio of crew management operations to ensure that each yacht under our management is equipped with qualified, certified and trustworthy officers. Experienced crewmembers are sourced through our proprietary crew database and also via selected crew hiring agencies. We ensure that the owner and yacht captain are also a part of the final hiring process to ensure the best fit.

We are capable of providing all areas of crew management including recruitment and selection, long-term strategic planning, pool arrangements, training, education, safety-instruction, P&I claims, mustering, travel arrangements, provisions, allotments, budgeting and accounts.

Our entirely web-based crew database provides a concise and easy to access platform of all personnel data, including digital copies of their relevant licenses and STCW endorsements.

Our crewing operation is certified to ISO 9001-2000 standards. We also hold the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) SQ certification for our office.

CREW TRAINING

A professionally trained crew is essential in the safe and effective operation of a luxury yacht and provides a tangible and memorable experience for our owners when standards are met efficiently.

Hands-on training is consistently upheld as the best way of acquiring valuable work skills and we feel the same way. With the latest technological advancements and regulatory and commercial pressures, workplace mentoring and guidance that was received by seafarers in the past has seriously been hampered.

Dynamic Yacht Management, as a result, has initiated an innovative solution to expedite the performance improvement and consolidation of yacht board training. We provide a wide range of on-site courses and training workshops to ensure a friendly and familiar learning environment for our crew.

Our surveyors, along with the captain, assess the gaps in the workforce’s curricula and design the training modules to fit the needs of the individual yacht. Customized lessons are designed ranging from basic concepts, group interactions, hospitality training, operational practices, safety/pollution prevention drills, operation of equipment and machinery and much more. Each training module is accompanied with live demonstrations and practical examples designed to enrich the crew’s knowledge base and enhance productivity. The results are immediately visible as the crew is more comfortable within their respective roles and the overall functionality of the yacht also benefits greatly.

COMPUTER BASED TRAINING (CBT)

DYM can easily customize the CBT (Computer Based Training) programs based off the individual yacht and crew’s needs. We are always eager to ensure that each one of our yachts is functioning at its optimal levels, mechanically and professionally.
